Frequently Asked Questions

+ I’m new to therapy. What should I expect?

At our consultation call, you will talk about your reasons for coming to therapy and what you hope to achieve in therapy. I will answer any questions that you might have for me and share more about my therapy style. If we both think it’s a good fit, we will schedule our initial session. I will email you my office policies, consent form, and a brief questionnaire that I would need before the first session. Throughout our journey, we will work on integrating skills to identify your strengths. Therapy can be both short-term and long-term depending on your goals and your commitment to the process. It might not be easy, but you’re already at this step - so keep going.

+ What is the frequency for sessions? What are your fees?

Typically, we would meet weekly for 50- minutes sessions. A 50-minute session is $150. Sliding scale is available upon request.

+ Do you accept insurance? How can I pay for session?

I do not accept insurance, solely private pay (credit, debit, FSA). I can provide you with a superbill to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement, but reimbursement rates are at the discretion of your insurance plan. Please check with your insurance company to get more information on your out of network options. Please note, that to provide a superbill, I would need to provide a clinical diagnosis to your insurance company that stays on your medical record.

Superbills are available by requests only.
